Shane Evans

Shane has been working in the business since high school, holding a variety of positions within the company. He is experienced with the production and delivery of burial vaults. For many years, Shane has managed our manufacturing operations and has been responsible for the quality control of our products. In 2024, Shane purchased a portion of his father’s share of the business and is currently responsible for overseeing our daily delivery schedule and overall operations of our company.

Allison Evans-Torres

Allison was involved in a near-fatal car accident in March 2002. After months of rehabilitation, she realized her college career in pursuing art would have to wait. In the meantime, Allison started in the office as a member of the clerical staff. As her time in the office grew, she decided the company needed a change for our vaults, so a graphic design and media communications department was created. She utilizes her artistic skills to design our vault name plates and other custom memorial items. In 2024, she purchased a portion of Bill and Paul’s share of the business.

Ryan Moyer

Before joining Evans Vaults in 2012, Ryan held several positions in other industries, mainly managing restaurant operations. What Ryan brings to our business is a wide variety of skill sets; he is both “hands-on” with equipment and has significant business management experience. In 2024, he purchased a portion of Paul’s share of the company and is currently responsible for business management. This includes overseeing our accounts receivable and payable, sales, and human resources.   

William L. Evans (Bill)

Bill has worked in the business since graduating from high school in 1971. Originally, Bill worked in the vault production shop and eventually became a delivery driver. As Bill’s experience grew, he slowly acquired more management responsibilities. In 1985, he officially bought his father’s share of the business. Bill, along with his Uncle Bob, purchased the Shade Burial Vault Company in 1985. Bill also became active in trade organizations. In 1990, Bill was the motivating force behind our company's offering of cremation services for funeral directors. This was a big decision to make as cremation was a new market area at this time. It also required the company to expand and develop specialized skills.

Bill continued to expand his leadership role in the business, and in 1990, he became president of the company. Today, Bill helps Shane with managing the vault delivery schedule and helps oversee vault production.

R. Paul Evans

Paul joined the family business in 1998 after a long and successful career as a consulting civil and environmental engineer. With Bob nearing retirement, Paul became a logical choice with his business experience to expand the business. He recognized the challenge that the increasing cremation rates represented to a burial vault business. Paul immediately went to work on many acquisitions, and the company doubled in size due to his efforts.

Paul continues to help Ryan manage the business and sales of the company. And of course, always looking for new opportunities. Paul continues to be very active in trade organizations. He is a board member for the National Concrete Burial Vault Association. Paul is also often a speaker at industry events and panels. He is very active in non-profit organizations, including Children’s Miracle Network, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Make-A-Wish, and others.

Cathy, Sue, Allison, Renee, and Kimberly

The voice of Evans is demonstrated through our amazing administration staff. Allison is responsible for our graphics, media, and communication services, and oversees our administrative functions. Renee Sensenig-Peiffer (20+ year employee) is our office manager and is responsible for accounts payable, human resources, and overall accounting resources. Kimberly Witwer (9-year employee), Cathy Highfield (8-year employee), and Sue Groff (6-year employee) are responsible for accounts receivable. This includes taking and processing orders, and preparing billing statements. They also work closely with our dispatching staff to ensure that our daily work schedules cover all deliveries and related services. Our administrative staff is an essential part of the Evans team, handling communications with our clients and delivery staff.

Juls Xi

Juls is a fourth-generation employee of the Evans family. They grew up painting vaults, delivering memorial plaques, and helping out at the office. They recently graduated from New York University with a B.A. in East Asian Studies and minors in Chinese language and Media Culture & Communication. They now assist Allison and Ryan with tasks like designing newsletters, creating the new website, etc. They also utilize their photography skills and took new photos of the staff in July 2025. Juls also participates in the Great Strides Walk for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
